This body of work explores the idea of stillness.

I have been working for a long-time showing movement in still places, this time, I have tried to find a sense of being completely still, silent in the wide landscape.

I have thought about forms that feel steadfast and grounded. The large bottle nurtures the tiny bottle, a still life about feeling still.

The Still Life collection uses the horizon line and oval to steady us and again reflects on the notion of being silent and still, anchored in the landscape.
